Creating Characters |
If you're serious about scoring big in Drug Wars - Underworld, you'll want to create your own character.
Character creation not only allows you to customize the character name and image, but also allows you to set several skill levels to tailor your character to your style of gaming.

Opening the Character Interface |
You can create or modify a character from the New Game window, or from the main window of the game.
This will display the Character Window. This window allows you to modify existing characters, or create new characters.
Creating a New Character |
To create a new character, click the Create Character button. This will create a blank character for you to start with. There are three main things you must decide when creating a character:
Editing an Existing Character |
You can edit any existing character by selecting the character in the combo box at the top of the character window. When editing a character, you can change the name and the image for the character, but not the skill settings. To save your changes, click the Update Character button.
Deleting an Existing Character |
You can delete an existing character by selecting the character in the character window, and clicking the Delete button next to the character name. Deleted characters cannot be recovered, although they may live on through their scores. You cannot delete the character being used in a game while the game is being played.
Character Images |
Drug Wars - Underworld allows you to specify an image for any character. This image is used in the game to identify your character. Drug Wars - Underworld supports images in BITMAP (*.BMP) format only. It is also recommended that you select images which are 64x64 pixels in size to provide the best display quality.
If the image you would like to use is not in the format, or is a different size, you can use a graphics application to convert the file. Geek Phase recommends a program called CompuPic from Photodex Corporation (www.photodex.com). We have found this to be the easiest way to select and quickly convert character images.
