Posting Scores Online |
Online score posting lets you show your scores to the world, and brag about your greatest moments.
How Does Score Posting Work? |
Score posting works by transmitting information about your game to Geek Phase Corporation's website. The scores are saved in our online system, which ranks your scores against the scores of other players.
Scores are transmitted over the web, so you'll need to have an open internet connection to post your scores. You'll also need to create an account on the Geek Phase website, so that we know who's scores are being uploaded. (Creating an account is free, and can be done at www.geekphase.com.)
What Information Is Sent? |
When you post a score online, only information about your game is sent. This includes all the information displayed in the statistics window. Geek Phase does not collect any private or personally identifiable information from your computer.
How to Post Scores |
Scores are posted from the scores window. You can post any number of games at once, although the more games you post at once, the longer it will take.
In the scores window, scores which have been posted are displayed with a check mark, and cannot be posted again.
To post scores, select the scores you'd like to post (use the CONTROL and SHIFT keys to select multiple scores), and click the Post Online button. You will be prompted to enter your website member name and password. Once your password has been confirmed, your scores will be uploaded.
Viewing Online Scores |
Scores posted by you and other players can be viewed at the Geek Phase website.
